Vet referral program

Vet referral program

Big dogs. Little dogs. Overactive dogs. Overweight dogs. As a veterinarian, you’ve seen them all.

What do they all have in common? They need exercise. But, as I’m sure you know all too well, many owners don’t have the time or ability to give their precious pooches the proper amount of exercise.

At Dash Dog Running, we want to help your clients who have dogs that need more exercise. If the dog is overweight or has special needs, we’ll follow any suggestions you may have to gradually and safely improve its fitness. We can also send you updates on the dog’s progress, if you’d like.

We offer runs from 20 to 45 minutes. On a typical 20-minute run, we cover 2–2.5 miles, depending on the dog’s fitness level. In the summer, we run with water bottles. In the winter, we take precautions in the cold weather, especially the dogs’ paw pads. A number of our runners are certified in Pet First Aid/CPR, and we hope to get more trained in the future.

To make my service as convenient as possible, I offer a trial run to new clients for only $5. That way, owners can make sure dog running is right for them and their dogs. And to show my appreciation for your support, for any client you refer, I will donate that $5 rate to the Pet Emergency Fund, the SPCA, or any non-profit pet organization you choose.

If you have any questions about Dash Dog Running, I’d be more than happy to discuss my service with you further. You can email dashdogrunning@gmail or call 716.525.8364.
